PRE-ORDER TERMS & CONDITIONS – 2026

Thank you for choosing to pre-order with Making Spirits Bright. Our pre-order program allows customers to secure stunning, limited-availability Christmas pieces well in advance to avoid disappointment.

Once your deposit has been received, your pre-order item(s) are secured specifically for you.

Please read the following Terms & Conditions carefully. By placing a pre-order and paying a deposit, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

1. DEPOSIT & PAYMENT TERMS

1.1 A 20% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of placing all pre-orders.

1.2 The remaining balance is due upon arrival of stock, expected from September/October 2026 onwards.

1.3 Once full payment has been received, orders may either:

  • Be dispatched (postage applies), or

  • Be collected in-store.

2. EXTENDED PAYMENT / LAYBY ALIGNMENT

2.1 Customers pre-ordering goods with a total value over $500 may request extended payment terms via fortnightly repayments.

2.2 Requests for extended payment terms must be made in writing at the time of placing the pre-order.

2.3 Payments may be made progressively up until stock arrives.

2.4 All pre-order balances must be paid in full by 31 October 2026, in line with our layby policy.

2.5 Failure to maintain agreed payments may result in cancellation, with all monies paid forfeited.

3. ACCEPTED PAYMENT METHODS

3.1 We accept payment by:

  • Visa

  • Mastercard

  • Cash

  • Direct Deposit

3.2 AMEX, Afterpay, or Buy Now Pay Later services are not available for pre-orders.

4. CHANGES, CANCELLATIONS & FORFEITURE

4.1 Pre-orders cannot be changed, transferred, or amended under any circumstances once confirmed.

4.2 If a customer cancels their pre-order at any time, including prior to the arrival of goods, all monies paid will be forfeited in full.

4.3 Deposits and instalment payments are non-refundable, as items are ordered specifically on the customer’s behalf.

5. POSTAGE & DELIVERY

5.1 Postage is additional and not included in the pre-order price.

5.2 Postage costs will be calculated and added once items arrive, based on:

  • Australia Post rates, and

  • The delivery postcode at the time of dispatch.

5.3 All postage and delivery charges are the responsibility of the customer.

6. SUPPLIER AVAILABILITY

6.1 In the unlikely event that our supplier is unable to supply an item due to circumstances beyond their control and ours, all monies paid will be fully refunded.

6.2 Delivery timelines are estimates only and may be affected by manufacturing or shipping delays outside our control.

7. GENERAL

7.1 Pre-orders are subject to availability and supplier confirmation.

7.2 These Terms & Conditions operate in conjunction with our general layby and store policies.

7.3 Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
