VIP Membership – Full Terms & Conditions (2026)
These Terms & Conditions apply to the Making Spirits Bright VIP Membership. By purchasing or renewing a VIP Membership, you agree to the following terms.
1. VIP Membership Details
• The VIP Membership fee is $75 AUD per year and is non-refundable.
• VIP Membership is valid until 31 December 2026.
• VIP Membership must be purchased or renewed by 31 May 2026 to access 2026 benefits.
• VIP Membership is for individual use only and is linked to the registered email address used at purchase.
• VIP Membership does not automatically renew. Members will be invited to renew annually.
• Making Spirits Bright reserves the right to refuse or cancel membership if these terms are breached.
2. VIP Discount – General Purchases
• VIP Members receive 20% off full-priced items on purchases of $100 or more, in-store and online.
• The discount must be applied at the time of purchase.
• Discounts cannot be applied retrospectively once a transaction has been completed.
• VIP discounts cannot be combined with any other offers, promotions, sale pricing, staff discounts, or coupon codes.
VIP discounts do not apply to:
• Gift cards or vouchers
• Sale or clearance items
• Shipping or delivery charges
3. Early Access & VIP Events
• VIP Members may receive early access to selected sales, promotions, product launches, and events.
• Early access periods and invitations are offered at the discretion of Making Spirits Bright and may vary throughout the year.
• Event invitations are non-transferable and subject to availability.
4. Exclusive Pre-Order Benefit (February 2026)
• VIP Members receive 20% off 2026 pre-orders for Mark Roberts and Jim Shore collections when offered in February 2026 only.
• A 30% deposit is required at the time of placing a pre-order.
• The remaining balance may be paid off throughout the year via extended layby or paid in full when stock arrives later in the year.
• Pre-order discounts cannot be applied outside the designated pre-order period.
• Pre-orders are subject to supplier availability and delivery timelines.
5. 🌟 NEW FOR 2026 – VIP Layby Perk
• VIP Members are eligible for 10% off VIP layby orders.
• Minimum layby value is $350.
• A 20% deposit is required to commence a layby.
• Layby repayments are required fortnightly unless otherwise agreed.
• Additional items may be added to an active layby in $100 increments.
• VIP Layby includes extended layby terms to support long-term Christmas planning.
• VIP Layby must be arranged directly with our team in-store or by contacting us via email or phone.
• VIP Layby discounts cannot be applied retrospectively or to existing laybys.
6. Layby Cancellations & Defaults
• If a layby is cancelled or payments are not maintained, the VIP layby discount may be forfeited and a cancellation fee may apply in accordance with our general layby policy.
• Deposits are non-refundable unless required by Australian Consumer Law.
• Stock may be returned to general sale if layby terms are not met.
7. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds
• VIP purchases are subject to the same Returns & Refunds Policy as non-VIP purchases.
• VIP Membership fees are non-refundable, including if benefits are not used.
• Nothing in these terms limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
8. Changes to VIP Benefits
• Making Spirits Bright reserves the right to modify VIP benefits, update exclusions, change event access, and amend these Terms & Conditions.
• Any material changes will be communicated via email or our website where possible.
9. Misuse of VIP Membership
• VIP Membership must not be shared, transferred, or used on behalf of others.
• Misuse of VIP discounts may result in immediate cancellation of membership without refund.
10. General
• VIP benefits are valid only while membership is active.
• Making Spirits Bright is not responsible for lost, forgotten, or unused discount codes.
• These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Australia.
